(MI) Administrative Assistant

Job Title:      Administrative Assistant                                       Department: Executive

Reports To:  Sr Executive Assistant                                          FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

 

 

SUMMARY:

The Administrative Assistant will work under the direction of the Sr Executive Assistant providing essential support to ensure the efficient operation of the office by handling various administrative tasks and departments, including scheduling, communication, and document management.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and organize office files, records, and correspondence.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Answers and direct phone calls, emails, and other communications.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Assist in office supply inventory and order necessary materials.
  • Greets and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Support various departments with administrative tasks as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office software.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The Administrative Assistant will spend time sitting and using office equipment and computers. May be required to do some lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.
